The Resource Center
The Clearinghouse is here to serve you. If you are in need of prevention information, please get in touch
with WSADC. Call the Clearinghouse to request a sampling of available resources.
Recently we learned that funding for our statewide Alcohol/Drug Clearinghouse has been reduced significantly for the next two years. Because of state revenue shortfalls, our primary funder, the state Department of Social and Health Services – Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery (DBHR), was not able to maintain our budget at current level.
As a result, we will begin operating a more cost-effective and efficient warehouse and Resource Center by making the following changes to materials ordered, beginning July 1, 2009:
Clearinghouse materials will continue to be free; however, we will need to charge for shipping costs for ALL orders. The Clearinghouse will continue to accept online and phone orders. We accept cash, check, or credit card (through the PayPal service). Due to staff reductions, it will take 10 to 15 working days to mail orders once payment has been received.
Shipping prices are:
The Clearinghouse will be working towards providing most prevention materials as a downloadable PDF file or direct link on their website, and updating their online catalog and video lending library.
